About the project

This capsule machine is one of the concept designed for NIngbo AAA. The idea of this concept begins from the top: there were a lot of capsule machine with a huge chamfer. This chamfer generally follows the top line of the machine, underlining the lateral shape (top + front).
I thought of this reverse bevel, making it downward toward the top, which is then lowered until the creation of the excavation for the lever. The chamfer, become large and important houses the controls of the machine. 
The body of the machine is a single element, simple, to give more prominence to the top and to the controls.
The name, Ribbon, refers to this main feature of the machine: the band.
